VEF Vasarnīca - an industrial space for creative challenges. This historic site, formerly a street hidden under the roof during the VEF factory days, now serves as a 600 m2 event space. The large hall can be additionally combined with an adjacent space of 326 m2. The high ceilings and exposed brick walls give the space a spaciousness and freedom of untamed creativity.
Artists such as Boy Harsher (USA) have visited VEF Summerhouse in the past, Christian Löffler (DE), Cream Soda, SBP4, domestic DJ Ksenia Kamikaza and the Penthouse Calling project have performed in VEF Vasarnīca. The hidden pearl of the industrial heritage hosted the Latvian Architecture Year Award 2023 award ceremony, the Riga Design Market, the LMA fashion show and the completely sold-out FIŅĶIS "Vislielākais komncerts". In 2024, the FIŅĶIS concert was nominated for the annual award of Latvian Television and Latvian Radio "Kilograms kultūras".
The spacious event space can be conveniently combined with the well-equipped VEF Promenade, offering both corporate and creative projects additional space for presentations, city celebrations, company anniversaries, etc. events.
"The industrial atmosphere of VEF KVARTĀLS incorporates both a touch of romanticism and neat minimalism, which increases the aesthetic pleasure. This is definitely a place to come back and build great things!” (Opening event of the planner "secrets & desires" in VEF Vasarnīca.)
